The history of La Era dates back more than 200 years. Originally, this stone and timber building was a working farmhouse belonging to Moisés and Beatriz, the great-grandparents of the current owners, Marta and Susana.
The family heritage and culinary wisdom were passed down from generation to generation. Attention to detail and a love for the produce of our land (Álava) are the foundations upon which Moisés and Beatriz built this home.
Marta, Susana, and their mother lovingly restored the old manor house, turning it into the restaurant it is today. A haven of peace designed for relaxation and culinary delight, nestled by the warmth of its fireplace.
Today, we open our doors to anyone wishing to gather around our table and enjoy the tradition of our dishes, or simply find a place to have a refreshing drink in a peaceful setting.
The sense of comfort and the warm hospitality of its owners remain completely unchanged.
